For fanciers
Do I need an account to see results?
No. All race results on NPRR are public and can be read without an account. You only need to sign up if you want to follow specific clubs, claim your fancier profile, or list a bird on the marketplace.
Can I claim my own racing history?
Yes. Once your club is on NPRR, you can claim your fancier profile and every result attached to your loft will appear under your name. Claims are verified by your club secretary in a single click.
Will NPRR work on an old phone?
Yes. Every page is built to load on a basic 4G connection and to render legibly down to 360 pixels wide. There is no app to install — the site is the app.
Can I export my own results?
Yes. Your fancier profile has a CSV export of every race your birds have ever flown on NPRR. Your data is yours.
What if I race in multiple Federations?
Each result is filed under the Federation that ran the race; your fancier profile aggregates them across Federations into one consolidated history.
For clubs
How does my club join?
Submit the registration form on the For Clubs page. We confirm your club within one working day and book a short call to walk through your first upload.
Do we have to switch clock software?
Not at all. NPRR works with the CSV or XML export your existing clock already produces. We do not ask you to change anything about how you run a race.
Who can upload results for our club?
Any account that the club secretary has authorised. Most clubs nominate two accounts — the secretary and one assistant — so a race can still go out if one person is away.
Can we still publish a PDF?
Yes. NPRR generates a print-ready PDF in the same layout your members are used to. The national leaderboard and the PDF are produced from the same upload.
What if a result needs correcting?
Corrections are made by re-uploading. NPRR keeps a record of every version, so the audit trail is preserved.
What about clubs that share a clocking house?
NPRR supports multi-club marking stations. A single CSV containing several clubs is split automatically by the membership data on file.
Do we need to be RPRA-affiliated?
No. We are open to RPRA-affiliated clubs, IHU clubs, WHPU clubs, NEHU and others. The platform is union-neutral.
About the data
Where do race results come from?
Directly from the clock software your club already uses. NPRR does not retype results, edit them, or invent figures.
How are distances calculated?
We recalculate every distance using the official RPRA distance tables and the GPS coordinates of each member loft. This matches the distance your union would issue for a National event.
Are results editable after publication?
No. Once a race is published, its data is immutable. Corrections are issued as a new version with a visible audit trail.
Can a club withdraw a race?
A club secretary can mark a race as withdrawn — usually for a HOLD OVER or DELAYED liberation that needs revising. The original record remains visible in the audit trail.
What about historic results?
Clubs can upload up to ten seasons of historic results during onboarding, free of charge, to give every member a meaningful loft history from day one.
How is the data backed up?
NPRR runs on UK-hosted infrastructure with daily off-site backups. Race records are also exportable by clubs themselves at any time.
About the marketplace
When does the marketplace open?
To verified members in September 2026, ahead of the autumn sale season. It will open to the general public in early 2027.
Who can list a bird?
Any verified fancier with a current NPRR account whose birds have a published racing record on the platform. Established auction houses can also list under their own account.
Is there a listing fee?
No. The marketplace is a free listing service. NPRR is not involved in any transaction between buyer and seller.
What is the verified-performance badge?
A badge attached to every listing showing the race history actually on file in NPRR — positions, distances, YPM and Federation. It is drawn directly from the results database; sellers cannot edit it.
What protections are in place for buyers?
Ring authenticity has to be confirmed by both parties before a sale is marked complete on the listing. Disputes are reviewed by an NPRR moderator within five working days. The platform itself is not party to the transaction.
Can I sell a bird without a racing record?
Yes. Listings without a racing record are accepted, but they appear under a separate "Unraced" category with no verified-performance badge.
Roadmap
When does NPRR go live?
The first Federations join the live platform in July 2026, in time for the Young Bird season opener.
When does the marketplace open?
September 2026 to verified members; early 2027 to the public.
When will live API integration with clocks land?
In partnership with the major manufacturers, on a rolling basis through 2027. CSV upload remains the supported default.
Will there be a mobile app?
Not at launch. The web site is built mobile-first and works as well as an app on every modern phone, without the app-store overhead. We will revisit if members ask for one.
What about international races?
International races liberated from continental Europe will be supported from the 2027 season, with the major French and Belgian liberation points added first.
